At the XV Conference on Steel and Composite Construction and the I Conference on Facade Engineering, the Gala Dinner will take place at the iconic Stock Exchange Palace.<\/p>\n
In the historic centre of Porto , the Stock Exchange Palace, is not only the city’s crowning jewel but World Heritage aswell. The building is classified as a national monument and is the headquarters of the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Comercial do Porto . It was built in the second half of the XIX century.<\/p>\n
It is neoclassical in style and some of the biggest names in Portuguese architecture were involved in the different steges of construction, including Marques da Silva and Tomas Soller. Painting and sculpture involved figures as Veloso Salgado, Teixeira Lopes and Soares dos Reis.<\/p>\n
Many famous personalities of the XIX, XX and XXI centuries have graced the Pal\u00e1cio da Bolsa. Monarchs, Presidents and numerous world leaders have all walked its hallways.<\/p>\n
The elegance and diversity of the interior also ensures that the Pal\u00e1cio da Bolsa is one of north’s most visited monuments.<\/p>\n
